Love Note intends to change that formula by offering a carefully curated musical journey spanning decades of beloved music. Patrons can expect everything from '90s R&B classics and 2000s sing-alongs to feel-good hits and timeless Lovers Rock selections.
The result, organizers say, will be a soundtrack that evokes memories of first loves, heartbreaks, celebrations, friendships, and life's defining moments.
"This isn't just another party playing throwbacks," the Love Note team explains. "We'll take you back with the classics you know and love, but we'll also bring you forward with the R&B soundtrack of the last two decades."
Scheduled for Backyard in Fort Lauderdale, Love Note targets a sophisticated crowd seeking an elevated nightlife experience. Whether attending with a spouse, significant other, friends, or simply looking for good company and positive energy, guests can expect an atmosphere designed around genuine enjoyment rather than social media appearances.
At the heart of the evening will be a lineup of DJs known for their ability to create memorable musical experiences.
Headlining the event is New York-based selector Steelie Bashment. Joining him will be South Florida's DJ Fergie, while DJ Bulletproof and DJ Kvass round out the lineup.

Love Note takes place on Saturday, June 27, from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. at Backyard, located at 100 SW 3rd Avenue in Fort Lauderdale. The event is open to patrons 21 and older with valid identification.
