Reggae Girl Tiffany Cameron’s arrival boosts Real Betis Balompie

Tiffany Cameron, a prominent forward from the Jamaican Women’s National Team, more popularly known as the Reggae Girlz, has embarked on a new journey in Spain, showcasing her talent with Real Betis Balompie.

Her signing with the club in the Liga F, Spain’s professional women’s football league, has added another layer of international experience to her impressive career.

Cameron’s impressive journey includes being a part of the history-making Jamaican Women’s National Team, which qualified for the FIFA Women’s World Cup in both France 2019 and Australia/New Zealand 2023. In the latter, they reached the Round of 16 for the first time.

Having played for various clubs across Europe, including the Frauen Bundesliga in Germany, Cameron made her mark in European football, notably in the UEFA Women’s Champions League. She joined Real Betis Balompie in June of this year, signing a contract until 2025.

Notches first goal for club against Real Madrid

The Jamaican forward wasted no time making an impact in the Liga F, debuting in Real Betis Balompie’s first game of the season. Her scoring prowess was on display when she notched her first goal for the club in a match against Real Madrid, highlighting her significance as a key player for the team.

The Jamaican has played with many other clubs in Europe, with her first being Apollon Limassol of Cyprus, where she played in the most celebrated club competition on the continent, the UEFA Women’s Champions League, scoring three goals in 2015.

With the league season ahead, Cameron is poised to continue demonstrating her skills and contributing to Real Betis Balompie’s success in Spain.
