The individual involved is Lisa Bhudri, a 43-year-old insurance manager from Ontario, Canada.

Altercation during boarding

The incident unfolded around 8:30 pm during the final boarding stages of a flight. Bhudri became involved in a heated argument with a family over an issue concerning their child.

The situation escalated when she began to scold the child, prompting the airline staff and crew to intervene.

Escalation and police involvement

Despite the intervention of the flight’s staff, Bhudri’s behavior reportedly grew more aggressive.

She became both physically and verbally abusive towards the airline personnel. Her continued aggressive behavior led to the police being called to the scene.

Bhudri allegedly verbally assaulted the officers as well, which resulted in her being removed from the flight and placed under arrest.

Court appearance

Following her arrest, Bhudri was charged with disorderly conduct.

She was scheduled to make a court appearance at the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court on Tuesday.
