Hosted by the Caribbean American Cultural Group (CACG) and the Haitian American Chamber of Commerce of Treasure Coast (HACCOF-TC), this free event offers a mix of health resources, educational workshops, and family-friendly fun with no registration required.

Under the theme “Healthier and Happier You,” the fair focuses on empowering attendees to take charge of their well-being. Free health screenings provided by Cleveland Clinic include blood pressure checks, A1C diabetes testing, BMI assessments, and lung screenings. Additionally, participants can learn about healthy eating through the House of Hope’s Traveling Nutrition Education Garden, which features interactive demonstrations on sustainable nutrition.

Educational workshops will address critical topics such as stroke prevention, diabetes management, mental health, stress reduction, and building healthy lifestyle habits. For added fun, the event will feature Caribbean-style Zumba, children’s games, and raffles. Attendees can also enjoy a complimentary healthy Caribbean lunch, and the event will be emceed by the charismatic Rev. St. Hope of WCNO 89.9 FM.

“This health fair is a great opportunity for our community to come together, learn, and take small steps toward better health,” said Dawn Bloomfield, CACG President. “We want to provide practical tools and knowledge to help individuals and families make informed health decisions and build a stronger, healthier future.”

Marie L. Letin, Immediate Past Chair of HACCOF-TC, echoed this sentiment: “Taking care of yourself means taking care of your community. A healthier you leads to a happier community, and this health fair is about supporting each other in making wellness a priority.”
