PAHO and St. Jude Hospital collaborate to fight childhood cancer

The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) has partnered with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to bolster access to essential cancer medications for children in Latin America and the Caribbean.

This four-year initiative aims to ensure the supply of quality medicines through the PAHO Strategic Fund, enhancing healthcare services and drug management systems.

Addressing a regional crisis

With over 47,000 children affected and 12,000 lives lost to childhood cancer annually in the region, PAHO is committed to improving outcomes.
