Vybz Kartel, Masicka to drop new collab in March

Dancehall artiste Vybz Kartel and Masicka are aiming to collaborate once again on Kartel’s upcoming release Shootaz.

Both artistes are well-known on the dancehall scene, and this will be their first collaboration since their 2017 hit Infrared.  The song is already uploaded to Kartel’s official YouTube channel and set to a March 3 premiere date.

This collaboration is already generating a lot of attention with fans highly anticipating its release. Many users took to the comments section to show their love and support for the two artistes.

Should be trending soon.” Another user added that “the fans have been asking for another collab well here it is ya’ll make sure & run  up when it drop.”

Infrared was one of Kartel’s first major collaborations since his incarceration and was dubbed an instant hit within the dancehall space as it topped several charts and playlists after its release.

Masicka who recently signed with New York based recording label Def Jam is currently promoting his recent single Pieces featuring dancehall artiste Jahshii. The song currently has over 1.2 million views since its release ten days ago.

Masicka also recently received a YouTube award for attracting more than one million subscribers to his channel and also emerged as “one of three Jamaican artistes in Spotify Wrapped Jamaica for a Top 10 Album.”
