Jamaican cop shot by gunmen near Police Station

2-Year-Old Boy Dies After Accidental Shooting in Port St. Lucie Home

A Jamaican policeman has been hospitalized after being shot by armed men near the Central Police Station in downtown Kingston Tuesday morning.

There are no details of the incident; however, it was reported that the policeman was riding a motorcycle when he was approached by gunmen who opened fire.

He was shot at the intersection of East Queen Street and East Street.

It was also reported that the gunmen escaped.
