Fennell took to Twitter to detail the scary encounter which took place while she was entering General Foods on Old Hope Road in St Andrew.

She reported that a man grabbed her bag and escaped on a motorcycle driven by an accomplice.  She said she tried to retrieve the bag.

“You are literally safe nowhere in this country and it’s so frustrating, why am I walking into general foods… about to enter through the doors and two men on a bike pull up and grab my bag. I tried so hard to get it back,” she said.

She added in a follow up tweet that the thieves have already tried to make purchases using her cards.

“Already blocked all my cards, gets an alert that they trying to buy clothes at fashion nova …. no man, I have to laugh because if it’s not laughter it’s tears,” she wrote.

Security camera footage shows a man hopping on a getaway bike, which was being ridden by another man, with Kaci’s backpack in hand. Kaci attempted to grab her backpack from the robber, but the two men sped off on the motorbike.

She also tweeted that police informed her that just hours before, the same men had robbed someone at the post office mall nearby.

Fennell encouraged her followers to be alert, no matter where they are.
