Reggae Boy Jamal Lowe continued his scoring streak for Swansea City, finding the net for the second-consecutive week, while Grenada’s Kairo Mitchell notched his fifth goal of the season.
However, their respective teams, Swansea City and Rochdale, experienced contrasting outcomes in Saturday’s matches.
The 29-year-old Jamaican international, Lowe, set the tone for Swansea City’s imposing performance in a Championship game played in south-east London when he converted a penalty in the 23rd minute. The visitors went on to triumph 3-0 against MIllwall at The Den.

Meanwhile, Kairo Mitchell, representing Grenada, made his mark in the first half at Spotland Stadium. However, Rochdale, the hosts, let a 2-0 lead slip away, ultimately settling for a 2-2 draw against Southend United in the National League.
Lowe’s contribution from the penalty spot was pivotal once again for Swansea City, who secured their first win of the season the previous weekend thanks to his penalty. Nonetheless, Algeria’s Mehdi Leris ignited Stoke City’s comeback with a 20th-minute strike. Sead Haksabanovic leveled the game in the 47th minute before Nathan Lowe, a 65th-minute substitute, sealed the victory for Stoke City with a goal in the 89th minute.
In the north of England, 25-year-old Kairo Mitchell made a key header that doubled Rochdale’s lead in the 24th minute after Jimmy Keohane’s 10th minute opener.
Despite this, Southend’s Harry Cardwell scored twice in the 26th and 64th minutes to ensure a 2-2 draw.
