Neven Ilic has been re-elected as President of Panam Sports, securing 37 votes to his opponent Keith Joseph’s 16, during the LXII General Assembly held in Paraguay.
Ilic, who has been at the helm of the Olympic Movement of the Americas since 2017, will now lead the organization for another four years, serving his third consecutive term from 2024 to 2028.
“I want to thank everyone who supported me and allowed me to finish this project,” said Ilic following his victory. “We are a great group, and all are part of this project. I also thank my friend Keith Joseph, and we will continue working together to keep the Americas as a stellar continent.”
