In a strategic move aimed at enhancing financial inclusion and broadening remittance services, VM Money Transfer Services has forged a partnership with TerraPay, a leading global provider of cross-border payment solutions.

VM Money Transfer Services caters to a diverse clientele seeking to send funds to Jamaica from various corners of the globe, including Europe, the UK, US, Canada, the Cayman Islands, and Turks and Caicos.

Seamless cross-border transfers

Through the newly established collaboration, VM Money Transfer gains access to TerraPay’s advanced online platform, streamlining cross-border transactions for customers spanning approximately 30 international markets.

Optimistic outlook from CEO

Michael Howard, CEO of VM Money Transfer Services Limited, lauds the partnership as a significant enhancement to the agency’s operations. 

He emphasizes the importance of purposeful partnerships in the pursuit of elevating service standards for clients.

Visionary collaboration

The agreement, inked in March 2024, signifies a milestone in the realm of cross-border remittances. Juan Luis Hernandez, TerraPay’s Senior Regional Manager for Latin America and the Caribbean, expressed enthusiasm during his visit to Jamaica for the signing ceremony. 

He underscored the shared goal of driving innovation and efficiency in remittance services to benefit Jamaicans worldwide.

Enhanced services for customers

In addition to leveraging TerraPay’s expansive network, VM Money Transfer Services continues to offer its patrons the convenience of direct deposit to Jamaican bank accounts through its Direct to Bank Service. 

This dual approach ensures customers enjoy flexibility and security in their money transfer endeavors.
