NGO group urges CARICOM to suspend ties with Israel amid Gaza conflict

A group of non-government organizations (NGOs) alongside a prominent political party have issued a collective call to CARICOM leaders, urging a suspension of all ties with Israel in protest against the ongoing conflict in Gaza.

These organizations have taken a further step by urging Caribbean governments to actively participate in legal proceedings currently underway at the International Court of Justice (ICJ). 

The local grouping called Trinidad and Tobago Solidarity With Palestine urged the regional leaders to endorse and support South Africa’s case at the ICJ.
