Malie Donn announces debut album “The Golden Child”

Dancehall artist Malie Donn is set to release his debut studio album, The Golden Child, on July 24, 2026, marking a major step in the rising star’s career and a broader push into international visibility for Jamaica’s new wave of dancehall talent.

The 20-track project is positioned as a defining statement of his sound and trajectory, blending street narratives, motivational themes, lifestyle records, and collaborations with several emerging voices in the genre.

The album is led by the title track “Golden Child” featuring Squash, and includes a lineup of notable collaborations such as “Free 6ix Boss” featuring Byron Messia, “Trackstar” featuring Antuwang, and “Club Lit” featuring Javo Donn.

Other tracks such as “Miami,” “Holiday,” “Winning,” and “Badman Treat” lean into themes of lifestyle and ambition, while production is handled by a mix of established and rising producers, including Din Din, Attomatic Records, DJ Frass Records, Salkey Recordz, and others. The project also closes with the bonus track “DRXGZ.”
