Dancehall artist 450 and reggae star Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley are enjoying international success with their collaboration Good Morning, which has secured chart placements in several countries since its release on Oct. 16.

Produced by Jahvanie “Weekday” Morrison, the track reached No. 1 on Audiomack in the United States and secured No. 4 and No. 6 positions on iTunes in the United Kingdom and Japan, respectively.

The song also topped the iTunes charts in Grenada and The Bahamas, reached No. 3 on YouTube's trending chart in Nairobi, Kenya, and peaked at No. 10 on YouTube's trending list in Jamaica.

According to Weekday, the track has charted in more than 35 countries, with the response extending beyond streaming platforms to international radio.

“It has been great. We've gotten radio plays from all over the world,” the producer said, noting that the song's placement in Kenya was a first for him.

The accompanying music video has also attracted significant attention, surpassing three million YouTube views in less than a week. Shot in Miami and Jamaica, the visuals were directed by AKA Ruppi and AM Visuals.

Built around the sentiment, “I woke this morning feeling good, feeling blessed and Irie,” Good Morning blends 450's contemporary dancehall sound with Marley's reggae influence, delivering a message of gratitude, positivity and appreciation for life.

Weekday said the response from listeners has been particularly encouraging, with many expressing appreciation for the song's message and musical direction.

“I've gotten countless amounts of messages and comments from fans saying they weren't expecting this, and they're grateful for the message and change in the musical production,” he said.

The collaboration also represents a personal milestone for the producer, who described working with Marley as a longstanding ambition since entering the music industry.

“This has been one of my dream collaborations since I've started working in the music industry, and to be living one of my dreams is a truly amazing feeling,” he said.

Weekday previously collaborated with Julian Marley, while Good Morning marks 450's first collaboration with a member of the Marley family.

Looking ahead, the producer hopes the song's early international reception will translate into sustained success.

“My goal is for it to become a global hit,” he said, adding that the track “has already made a strong start.”

For Weekday, the project also demonstrates his commitment to versatility and experimentation rather than relying on a single musical formula.

“It just shows that I'm doing what a real music producer is supposed to do. Produce different types of music and not just repeat the same patterns and melodies over and over again,” he added.
