Volunteer doctors from the USA successfully train teams at Annotto Bay Hospital in Jamaica

Earlier this year, Annotto Bay Hospital in St Mary, Jamaica benefited from specialized training delivered by volunteer doctors from the USA, courtesy of the ISSA Trust Foundation.  The Paediatric Nursing & Medical Teams at the hospital were the primary recipients of this invaluable knowledge transfer.

Jamaican State Minister Hon. Dr. Norman Dunn BH (M), MP, while endorsing the foundation’s efforts, lauded the ISSA Trust Foundation for its ongoing support to Annotto Bay Hospital and, by extension, the Jamaican populace.  Recognizing the foundation’s unwavering commitment to the health and well-being of Jamaica’s citizens, Dr. Dunn emphasized the significance of such initiatives for capacity building within Jamaica’s healthcare system. Dr. Dunn, being a medical professional himself, acknowledged the foundation’s consistent interest in uplifting the nation’s healthcare standards.
