Brightline boosts train services from Orlando to Miami, offers 30 trips daily

Brightline officially expanded its daily train service connecting Miami and Orlando to 30 trips starting on Monday.

This service augmentation was announced on October 4, signaling a committed response to the positive reception of its inaugural trip to Central Florida two weeks ago.

Double the convenience with increased daily trips

Originally operating eight trips daily in each direction, the service now boasts 15 trains making the convenient Miami-Orlando connection.

With this, Brightline effectively doubles the travel options available to commuters, tourists, and residents alike who transit between these bustling Florida cities.

Efficient timing

For early risers, Brightline’s day commences with a 6:41 a.m. departure from Miami, ensuring passengers reach Orlando by 10:19 a.m.

On the flip side, night travelers aren’t left behind with the last train smoothly pulling out of Miami at 9:41 p.m.

From Orlando, the trains are equally accommodating with the first one leaving at 4:38 a.m. and the last at 8:54 p.m.

Stops en route

Brightline also offers stops en route, connecting passengers to Aventura, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, and West Palm Beach.

Early morning and late-night services have been scheduled between these stations, making it a versatile choice for travelers with varied timing preferences.

Expanding horizons: Orlando extension

Before September 22, the ambitious Brightline service was limited to West Palm Beach.

The extension to Orlando, introduced three months post the completion of the construction phase of the Miami-Orlando rail line, marks a significant milestone in the company’s expansion drive, offering passengers a broader reach and enhanced convenience.

Trips from Miami to Orlando should last about three and a half hours at speeds up to 125 mph.
