Authorities in Florida are gathering reports from residents who experienced tremors from a 4.0 magnitude earthquake that occurred off the coast, as announced by the National Weather Service.
Reports are that the earthquake occurred shortly before 11 p.m. on Wednesday, roughly 100 miles east of Cape Canaveral, according to data from the U.S. Geological Survey.
