4.3 magnitude earthquake rattles Eastern Caribbean

A magnitude 4.3 earthquake rocked the region just off the coast of Anguilla this morning, according to the University of the West Indies Seismic Research Centre (UWI-SRC).

The seismic event occurred at approximately 08:50 am local time and had a depth of 10 kilometers. 

Widespread impact

The quake’s tremors extended to neighboring islands, including Saint Kitts and Nevis, Antigua and Barbuda, and Montserrat.

There were no reports of damage.
