The earthquake’s epicenter was calculated to be 95 kilometers east of Roseau, Dominica, positioning it in close proximity to the island.
Fort-de-France, Martinique, felt the tremors as well, though it lay slightly farther, about 98 kilometers northeast of the focal point.
The effects were also noticed in Castries, Saint Lucia, approximately 149 kilometers to the north-northeast of the epicenter.
