The scenic city of Sunrise, Florida, is set to take center stage as it hosts the 2nd Annual Kevin Peart Memorial Male Netball Club Championships from September 22-24, 2023.
This high-profile event is organized in collaboration with The Founding Fathers Netball Foundation and the esteemed Florida Netball Association (FNA).
A showcase of talent
The Village Multi-Purpose Centre (VMPC) will serve as the battleground where the top six men’s netball clubs from the Americas region face off.
The inaugural center pass is scheduled for September 22, leading up to what promises to be a thrilling final on September 24.

Momentum for the event has surged in recent months, with organizers showcasing their readiness to deliver a memorable championship.
Kerret Wright, President of Florida Jet’z, alongside Tournament Director Dr. Edina Bayne, affirmed the preparations have been robust and the anticipation palpable.
Spotlight on the official tournament gear
Adding to the prestige of the championship, the official game ball has been declared as the Gilbert Netball— the same ball that featured in the World Netball Championships in Cape Town, South Africa.
Furthermore, the event has garnered robust support from its premium sponsors: Carl’s Seafood & Restaurant and M & M Supply Services.
A glimpse at the competing teams
Six (6) teams, including defending champions, World Male, will take part in the three (3) day fiesta set to get underway at 10:30 am on September 22nd. The other competing teams are Navigators Lightning (last year’s bronze medalists); Navigators Thunder; United Warriors (4th place); United Warriors; El Basan, out of Trinidad; and hosts Florida Jet’z (beaten finalists).
SA special showcase from El Basan Women’s Club
In addition to the event, the El Basan Women’s Netball Club from Trinidad will compete in a three-match test series against the Florida All-Select Women’s Team.
The series will span the duration of the tournament, with matches lined up for September 22 at 4:00 pm, September 23 at 2:15 pm, and the final test on September 24 at 12 noon.
