Thomas Mosley, the father of the two-year-old boy who was found dead in the jaws of an alligator is accused of fatally stabbing the child’s mother more than 100 times.
Reports are that Mosley, 21, was arrested in relation to the death of Pashun Jeffrey and their son, Taylen Mosley in St Petersburg, Florida.
According to investigators, 20-year-old Jeffrey was killed last Wednesday following a birthday party.
Guests left the party at roughly 5:15 p.m., according to an arrest report, and that was the last time they spoke to either victim.
It is further reported that according to police records, the alleged suspect killed Jeffrey before leaving the crime scene with their son.
Police began searching for Taylen when relatives could not get hold of Jeffrey and went to the apartment.
A“very violent crime scene”, according to the officers was discovered. Jeffrey was found dead in the apartment.
After searching Dell Holmes Park on the northwest side of Lake Maggiore where the toddler’s body was found in the jaws of an alligator.
Reports are that court documents did not reveal how Taylen died.
Thomas Mosley was later charged with two counts of first-degree murder and booked into Pinellas County Jail and is being held without bond.
