Official investigation launched into alleged misbehavior of SVG cop

The Royal Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) has launched an official investigation following claims that one of its officers allegedly lent his service firearm to a man to intimidate a woman on Villa beach.

Deputy Commissioner takes swift action

Deputy Commissioner of Police, Frankie Joseph addressed the serious allegations as they surfaced in a local online news publication.

 Demonstrating the commitment of the RSVGPF to uphold its integrity and maintain public trust, Joseph swiftly responded to the accusations.

Joseph emphasized the RSVGPF’s dedication to the principles of transparency and accountability. 

He declared, “We take any allegations of misconduct seriously and are committed to a thorough and impartial investigation,” stated Joseph. “The public can rest assured that we will leave no stone unturned in getting to the truth in this matter.”

Anyone with information on the matter is asked to contact the police and assist with the investigation.
