Aerotel is also prioritizing the refinement of its safety management system. This initiative is aligned with stringent regulatory standards and aims to limit major safety incidents to no more than one annually.

Developing technical expertise
Another key area of focus for Aerotel is the enhancement of its human resources. The company plans to conduct extensive training that adheres to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) 10057 standards.
This initiative will equip its technical staff with the necessary skills and competencies, ensuring they are well-prepared to manage and operate the sophisticated navigation systems.
Investment in Sustainability and Technology
For the fiscal year 2024/25, Aerotel has earmarked $104.77 million for capital expenditures—an increase from the previous year’s $60.95 million.
This investment will support the continuous operation of critical equipment and aims to achieve a system uptime of 99.9 percent.
Additionally, part of this capital allocation includes $12 million designated for the installation of solar systems, which will significantly reduce the company’s reliance on non-renewable energy sources.

Looking further ahead, Aerotel has set a goal to cut its non-renewable electricity consumption by 40 per cent from 2024/25 to 2028/29.
