Reports are that Rachel and her younger brother, Jaylon, were watching a television show at a relative’s house when the dog made its way into the room.
Recognizing the imminent danger, Rachel swiftly pushed Jaylon towards the exit, urging him to escape.
Heeding her instructions, Jaylon ran away, seeking the aid of their mother, Seema Bhagwandeen, and other family members nearby.
Reports are that Rachel had been mauled by the dog inside the bedroom.
