Reggae royalty is on the move again. Stephen Marley and his younger brother, Damian “Jr. Gong Marley, are hitting the road for their highly anticipated Traffic Jam Summer Tour 2025, bringing the pulsating rhythms of reggae to cities across the United States.
The tour kicked off on July 24 in Portsmouth, Virginia, and will make 27 stops before wrapping up in Mundelein, Illinois, on September 6. Fans can expect the brothers to deliver a musical journey that blends roots reggae, dancehall fire, and a tribute to their father, the legendary Bob Marley.
Adding to the excitement is special guest J Boog, the American-Samoan reggae star, whose island flavor perfectly complements the Marley brothers’ signature sound.
This joint tour is a rare treat for reggae fans. Stephen Marley, a Grammy Award-winning producer and vocalist, recently wrapped his Bob Marley 80th Birthday Celebration Summer Tour, which stopped in Atlanta, Ormond Beach, Tampa, and West Palm Beach, Florida, earlier this July.
Now, he’s joining forces with Damian Marley, a powerhouse in his own right. Known for global hits like “Welcome to Jamrock” and “Affairs of the Heart,” Damian has been a driving force in modern reggae and dancehall. Together, the Marley brothers have delivered some unforgettable collaborations over the years, including: “Medication”, “The Mission”, “Tight Ship”, and “Jah Told You”
On stage, their performances effortlessly merge Stephen’s soulful roots reggae vibe with Damian’s hard-hitting dancehall energy, creating a show that speaks to both longtime reggae lovers and a new generation of fans. The Traffic Jam Summer Tour 2025 is a coast-to-coast celebration of reggae culture. After Portsmouth, the brothers will bring their sound to: Thornville, Ohio, on August 1, New Haven, Connecticut, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Los Angeles, California, and Spokane, Washington.
The tour will wrap up August 29 in Bend, Oregon, with a final encore in Mundelein, Illinois, on September 6.
Fans can expect a setlist that blends solo hits, collaborations, and classic Marley family tributes like “Could You Be Loved,”—reminding audiences of the powerful legacy they carry on every stage they touch.
