During his tour in Japan, OMI teamed up with rising Japanese pop sensation LiLi to record a new single titled “Rain On Me.” The track, produced by Virg Productions, was recorded in Tokyo, with the music video shot at the scenic Yurakujo Resort in Narita.

The visually captivating music video also features the energetic DME World dancers from Japan, who have been backing OMI throughout his Japanese performances. The dancers were integral to the success of OMI’s tour, which celebrated a decade since the release of his chart-topping hit “Cheerleader.”

The Japanese leg of OMI’s tour was a collaborative effort between Contractor Music from Jamaica, DME World from Japan, and Commercial Entertainment from the UK. This latest project with LiLi, dubbed “Tokyo Dreamgirl,” showcases OMI’s ability to cross borders and genres, further expanding his influence in the international music scene.

Fans of both OMI and LiLi are eagerly awaiting the release of “Rain On Me,” which blends the vibrant sounds of Jamaican pop with Japan’s evolving pop music scene, setting the stage for another international hit.
