Citizenship Drive in Lauderhill May 18, 19

Volunteer lawyers, non-legal volunteers, and students are needed for the next Lauderhill Mall Citizenship Drive taking place Saturday, May 18 and Sunday, May 19 at the Lauderhill Mall. Applicants receive FREE assistance from experienced lawyers and immigration professionals with filling out their citizenship application and answering questions on the requirements to become a US citizen. Volunteers are provided a light lunch.

Looking to help beautify a community this weekend? The community of Roosevelt Gardens will have their Community Clean Up on Saturday, May 18. Volunteers are provided with clean up supplies and receive free refreshments. Students are eligible to receive community service hours for school. Please Note: Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult in order to participate.

The City of Lauderhill’s Annual Family Safety Day, a FREE family event, returns on Saturday, June 1. They’ll have lots of activities and giveaways including music, food, games, and swim lessons.

Neighborhood Housing Services of South Florida (NHSSF) will host a FREEHomeownership Fair on Saturday, June 8 at the African-American Research Library and Cultural Center.
