Lauderhill Vice Mayor partners with the Community Health and Empowerment Network to host Financial Workshop

Lauderhill Vice Mayor Howard Berger has partnered with the non-profit organization Community Health and Empowerment Network, Inc. (C.H.E. Network) to help offer an opportunity for financial training to other Not-For Profit Organizations and Small Businesses in the South Florida Community. The C.H.E. Network regularly offers educational courses and services to help individuals towards self enhancement, and also provides support and assistance geared towards small community based organizations.

Vice Mayor Berger regularly supports platforms that encourage learning new skills and help improve others. The Financial Workshop entitled “Getting Your Non-Profit or Small Business Ready for Financial Success” will give attendees the tools to increase their capacity for funding opportunities and improve their financial knowledge for attaining funding. It will be led by approved CPA vendor Hudson Robillard & Co., and it also features an attorney, entrepreneurs and other business professionals.

“We are grateful for the support of Vice Mayor Howard Berger to bring this much needed guidance and resource workshop to the community. Many of these organizations don’t have the opportunity to take part in beneficial events like this. We are happy to partner with him and other professionals that can give information on how to properly start a 501c organization as well as provide audit and fiscal management skills that will guide them towards the path to financial success,” says C.H.E. Network Executive Director Micaelle Titus.

The Financial Workshop will be held on July 28, 2018 from 9:30am-3pm in the Huizenga Sales Institute Room at Nova Southeastern University (Carl De Santis Bldg. 3rd FL), 3301 College Ave, Davie, FL, 33314. For more information, please contact event organizer Micaelle Titus at 305-439-9843 or visit www.healthempowermentnetwork.org.
