The Haitian American Nurses Association of Florida, Inc. (HANA) will host a Candidate Forum on Tuesday, July 31, 2018. The event will be held at Miami Dade College – North Campus from 6:30pm to 9:30pm in Room 3249 (building 3, 2nd floor).
The forum will provide HANA members and the community the opportunity to engage and understand the candidates’ position on certain issues in order to make informed voting preferences. The forum will also be a great way to engage Candidates and HANA members around health care issues and other pertinent issues that are relevant to the community. We aim to build support for the issues that matter to the health and welfare of the community, and to learn more about the candidates running to represent you and engage our members in the legislative process.
“This is a great time to get educated and informed with politics on all levels of government” said President Marsha Eloi, BSN, RN, CCM. We are looking forward to having the community come out to meet with political candidates that will impact our community from the federal, state, and local races.
