Anthony Cruz’ daughter murdered in Sunrise

Reggae Singer, Anthony Cruz, is devastated.

On Monday news broke that his 15-year-old daughter and her mother had been slaughtered inside their Sunrise, Fort Lauderdale home by a crazed man.

The man who committed the ghastly murders, identified as 32-year-old Kevin Nelson,  is now behind bars after he surrendered to police after a five hour standoff during which he barricaded himself in a the home with the bodies.

The identity of the dead woman ahs not been confirmed but the child has been identifies as 15-year-old Shanice Smith.

Yesterday the singer poured out his heart on  social media.

“I can’t believe them kill my one and only daughter in Fort Lauderdale,” Anthony Cruz posted on his Facebook account.

Nelson is a Jamaican who hails from Montego bay, St James and has a prior run in with law enforcement in South Florida for domestic violence after he assaulted his wife.

Nelson, has not been charged and is being questioned by cops.
