Guyana government commits to advance telecommunications industry

Guyana’s Prime Minister Mark Phillips reaffirmed the government’s commitment to elevating the nation’s telecommunications industry to meet global standards.

Phillips, in a recent address, emphasized that the government is steadfast in ensuring Guyana’s telecommunications industry achieves an advanced status.

2024 national budget: Blueprint for modernization

Phillips further said the 2024 national budget has outlined commitments to modernizing the infrastructure.

He noted that it also reiterated the government’s vision of providing quality telecom services across the country.
