Rezworth Burchenson, CEO of VMIL and VMWM, said, “Allison has made a significant impact and there’s much more to come.” He added, “She has brought discipline, clarity, and more energy to our operations.” Burchenson described the promotion as “a strategic move to strengthen our core, and prepare for accelerated expansion.”

In her new role, Mais will oversee the full operational footprint of both companies.

“I see myself as an enabler,” Mais said. “Making certain that people, processes, and technology are aligned in order to deliver the business results our clients and shareholders deserve.”

Mais holds degrees in computing, IT, manufacturing, management, and information systems from the University of Technology, Jamaica, and Cranfield University in the United Kingdom. She also has professional certifications from Yale, Wharton, and Columbia in financial markets, financial modeling, agile leadership, and ESG.

Describing this as a pivotal moment for VMIL and VMWM, Mais said, “We are laying the foundation for sustainable growth not only through digital innovation but also by building more efficient systems, creating seamless experiences with our clients and empowering our team to deliver consistently high performances.”

Allison Mais characterized the work environment at VMIL as “ambitious and agile” and said her focus would be on improving service and performance.

“There is a solid foundation in place,” she said. “Now, it’s all about elevating our processes, performance, and the experience that we create for each client. That’s what I am most excited about.”

Burchenson emphasized that Mais’s appointment fits within a larger plan to boost efficiency and strengthen the companies’ market position.
