One of his latest projects, ‘Put Food on the Ghetto Youths Table’, produced by France’s Irie Ites Records, has thought-provoking lyrics laid on a dub-rock reggae beat reminiscent of the late 1980s era.

The song’s official video, directed by One Shot Productions, premiered via Youtube earlier this year on Irie Ites Reggae TV. It captures scenes of inner-city children at play, while lyrics pleading for the protection of ghetto youths are embedded over a deep base.

Since its release, the music video has been streamed close to 100,000 times with comments in favor of the collaboration. The essence of true roots rocking reggae is felt throughout the production.

The France-based reggae producers are excited about the collaboration with the reggae star. “We are happy we got to work with a Jamaican artist like Eek-A-Mouse; this song is very significant to the struggles ghetto youths are faced with around the world.”

Fans of Eek-A-Mouse are now calling for the artist to release a full album with the European producers after hearing the authentic reggae sound delivered by the singjay on the single.
