Three-year-old drowns in Lauderhill pool

On April 29, 2018 at approximately 5:30 PM, the Lauderhill Police Department and the Lauderhill Fire Department responded to 3279 La Mirage Drive regarding a 911 call of an unresponsive child found floating in the pool.

When Police and Rescue Units arrived on scene they immediately began administering CPR to a 3 year-old female child. The child was transported to Plantation General Hospital where doctors were unable to save her. The child died as a result of the drowning.

Initial reports are that the child was at the community pool with the parents and other children. Another child made the adults aware of the 3 year-old floating in the water and the adults pulled the child out and called 911.

That child was subsequently identified as Angelique Pache. According to the Lauderhill Police detectives continue to investigate the circumstances related to the child’s death.
