The Caribbean American Cultural Group, Inc. (CACG) is gearing up for the 6th Annual Treasure Coast Food & Music Festival, set to take place on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at the MidFlorida Event Center in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Running from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM, the event promises a full day of Caribbean food, music, and cultural festivities for the whole family.
Headlining this year’s festival is the iconic reggae artist Luciano, also known as “The Messenjah.” A giant in the reggae world, Luciano has been a prolific force since the 1990s, releasing over 40 albums and earning a Grammy nomination. Known for his uplifting messages of peace, unity, and love, Luciano has inspired fans across generations with hits like “It’s Me Again Jah” and “Sweep Over My Soul.”
In addition to Luciano’s powerful set, the festival will showcase performances by a stellar lineup, including Jahmela Blender, Ras Fraser Jr., Sailor Jane, and international soca sensation Mr. Pearly. DJs Glamour Wayne, DJ Stamma, and DJ Red Asylum will keep the rhythm flowing throughout the day, spinning a mix of reggae, soca, and Caribbean beats.
Hosting the festival are comedian Rohan Gunter, a beloved figure in South Florida’s Caribbean community, and Sir Rockwell, the host of the popular Caribbean-formatted online morning show. Attendees will also be welcomed by Brother Gary, the influential Jamaican talk show host renowned across the diaspora.
In addition to live music, the festival will offer a wide variety of Caribbean dishes and a Kid Zone for family-friendly fun.
