The partnership will see McConnell driving a 1,000-plus-horsepower Dodge Hornet R/T FC1-X electric-powered car for the 2024-25 season, which kicks off this weekend at the Richmond Raceway in Virginia.

McConnell, known for his powerful performances on the track, expressed excitement about the new partnership. “It’s an honor to have a powerhouse brand like Dodge come on board to support us this season,” McConnell said. “Their commitment to motorsport aligns perfectly with our team’s vision for success, and I’m excited to see what we can achieve together.”

This partnership comes as McConnell looks to build on a stellar 2023-24 season, where he secured multiple victories, including wins in Phoenix and Las Vegas, and finished second overall behind reigning champion Robin Larsson. With his sights set on a championship, McConnell is confident the Dodge sponsorship will propel him and his team to new heights.

Fraser McConnell is eager to make his mark

As the Nitrocross season kicks off at the newly introduced Richmond Raceway this weekend, McConnell is eager to make his mark. “This new partnership with Dodge is a huge boost for the team, and I can’t wait to hit the track. Richmond is a brand-new venue, which makes it an exciting challenge for everyone. We’re going to give it everything we’ve got, and with the support of Dodge, we’re ready to take on the world,” McConnell said.

The 2024-25 Nitrocross season will feature 10 rounds spanning five venues, including stops in Richmond, Salt Lake City, Phoenix, Miami, and Las Vegas, running from September 7 through March 2. With Dodge backing his efforts, McConnell is poised for a season full of high-speed, adrenaline-packed racing, offering fans thrilling action on every lap.

Fans can catch McConnell and the rest of the Nitrocross field live on Rumble, with action starting at 3 p.m. Jamaica time.
