Set to showcase the talents of the best women’s cricketers in the West Indies, these tournaments promise thrilling encounters and fierce competition at various venues across the island.

The CG United Super50 Cup matches are scheduled to take place from March 4 to 25, with matches held at three venues: Warner Park, the Conaree Cricket Centre, and St. Paul’s Sports Complex. Action-packed 50-over matches will kick off each day at 10 am local time. On the other hand, the T20 Blaze tournament will captivate fans with five full days of entertainment at Warner Park from March 17 to 25. Each day will feature three matches, starting at 10:00 am, 2:30 pm, and 7:00 pm under lights.

Defending champions Barbados will look to maintain their dominance in both the CG United Super50 Cup and T20 Blaze tournaments, facing tough competition from Trinidad & Tobago Red Force Divas, Guyana, Jamaica, Windward Islands, and hosts Leeward Islands.

Busy year for West Indies Women’s cricket

The tournaments mark the beginning of a busy year for West Indies Women’s cricket, with international matches scheduled away from home. The team will kick off their campaign with series against Pakistan in April, followed by clashes with Sri Lanka in June. The pinnacle of the year will be the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in Bangladesh in October, culminating with a tour of India in December.

Miles Bascombe, CWI’s Director of Cricket, expressed excitement about the upcoming tournaments, highlighting their significance in providing opportunities for players to showcase their talent and stake a claim for international selection. With matches streamed live on the Windies Cricket YouTube channel and live scorecards available on the Windiescricket.com live match center, fans can stay engaged and follow all the action closely.

As anticipation builds for the CG United Super50 Cup and T20 Blaze, cricket enthusiasts can look forward to witnessing some scintillating performances and memorable moments on the picturesque grounds of St. Kitts.
