A substantial majority of respondents voiced their support for the proposed name change, with 71 per cent of the 610 respondents rallying behind the idea.
While 29 per cent held reservations, the prevailing sentiment among the Trinidad & Tobago populace leans heavily towards honoring their late former prime minister with this symbolic gesture.
