Two Jamaican women were extradited from their homeland to the United States on Thursday after their arrests on separate charges in St. James in July.
They are Sereika Goodison, 36, a customer service representative residing at Paradise Acres, Norwood Meadows, and 39-year-old Iyana Reynolds were detained in separate specialized operations.
Charges across borders
According to reports, the first operation targeted Goodison on July 6. She faces charges in the U.S. of mail fraud, wire fraud, and involvement in lottery scamming activities.
Following her arrest, investigations led to another operation on Tortuga Crescent, Greenwood in the parish on July 21, in which Reynolds was arrested.
Reynolds is wanted for murder and other serious offenses.

Joint task forces
The operations were carried out by members of the Jamaica Fugitive Apprehension Team (JFAT), Lottery Scam Task Force (LSTF), Area 1 Operational Support Team and counterparts from the USA.
