The ranking reflects the airport’s continued commitment to providing an exceptional and stress-free travel experience.

Laura Beebe, Director of Airports, credited the recognition to the airport’s dedicated staff. “This honor is a testament to the dedication, innovation, and tireless efforts of everyone who works to make our airport a world-class facility,” she said.

Over 575,000 readers participated in the survey, which praised PBI for its ease of access, lack of long lines, spacious gates, and wide range of food and beverage options. The airport’s unique putting green also received a special mention.

This marks PBI’s third major recognition in 2024, having also been honored by J.D. Power and Travel + Leisure. PBI continues to experience record passenger numbers, with over 8.1 million travelers passing through in a 12-month period.

With the resumption of seasonal flights, PBI is offering direct service to several cities, including Chicago, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., and Toronto. Additionally, new nonstop routes are being added to Buffalo, Grand Rapids, Nashville, and Norfolk.
