Jamaica Tourist Board joins prestigious Virtuoso Network

The Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB) has officially been accepted into the exclusive Virtuoso network, a major milestone that positions the island nation more prominently within the global luxury travel sector. Virtuoso is a leading international consortium of high-end travel advisors and suppliers, with a carefully curated portfolio of 2,300 preferred partners across 100 countries.

Jamaica’s inclusion in the network opens doors to new sales and marketing channels targeting Virtuoso’s elite clientele—travelers known for seeking exceptional, bespoke experiences.

“Virtuoso agencies worldwide sell an average of (U.S.) $35 billion annually, making the network the most significant player in luxury travel. The network’s acceptance process is incredibly selective, so becoming a preferred partner is a true honor,” said Jamaica’s Minister of Tourism, the Hon. Edmund Bartlett. “The reputation Virtuoso member agencies have for outstanding dedication to their clients is a perfect fit with our own bespoke approach to service. Now that we’re part of this renowned network, we look forward to offering Virtuoso advisors and their clients the special amenities, values and experiences that surpass their expectations.”

By becoming a Virtuoso partner, the JTB joins a lineup of the world’s most distinguished luxury hotels, resorts, cruise lines, tour operators, airlines, and other travel providers. These suppliers benefit from a suite of marketing tools and exclusive access to Virtuoso’s influential global community, including exposure at industry events such as Virtuoso Travel Week.

“Collaborating with Virtuoso enhances our ability to deliver an extraordinary experience to those who choose Jamaica as their preferred travel destination,” said Philip Rose, Jamaica’s Deputy Director of Tourism. “This partnership ensures that Jamaica is recognized for its diverse and exciting opportunities, solidifying its position as a leading Caribbean destination for travelers seeking an elevated getaway, with offerings that cater to all interests.”

JTB’s entry into the Virtuoso network also strengthens its direct relationships with top-tier leisure travel agencies across key global markets, including North and Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe, Asia-Pacific, Africa, and the Middle East.

“Welcoming the Jamaica Tourist Board into the Virtuoso network is a powerful statement of the destination’s commitment to the luxury sector,” said Javier Guillermo, Virtuoso Director of Alliances. “This partnership deepens the synergy between the island’s rich offerings and a strategic vision to serve high-value travelers with excellence. Jamaica is not only enhancing its positioning within our global community but also setting a new standard for what Caribbean luxury can look like. We’re excited to be part of this next chapter in Jamaica’s evolution.”
