In a commanding display of skill and determination, the West Indies “A” cricket team secured an unassailable 3-1 lead in their Twenty20 series against Nepal on Thursday.

The Caribbean side dominated proceedings in the penultimate match, clinching a resounding 28-run victory at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground.

Leading the charge for West Indies “A” was Andre Fletcher, whose unbeaten 84 off 54 balls earned him the Player-of-the-Match accolade. Despite battling illness, Fletcher’s stellar performance set the stage for his team’s imposing total of 209 for three after opting to bat first. Johnson Charles complemented Fletcher’s innings with a quickfire 58 off 30 balls, contributing to vital partnerships that laid the foundation for the visitors’ imposing score.

Nepal, led by Rohit Paudel’s valiant 82 off 47 balls, put up a spirited fight in response but ultimately fell short, managing only 181 runs.
