I look forward to building on the foundation set by my former teammate and friend, Angus Eve, and interim head coach Derek King.”

Yorke’s legacy includes leading Trinidad and Tobago to the semi-finals of the 2000 CONCACAF Gold Cup and captaining the 2006 World Cup squad. His experience spans clubs like Manchester United, Aston Villa, and Sydney FC, as well as head coaching roles, most recently with Macarthur FC in Australia.

TTFA President Edwards highlighted Yorke’s journey from standout player to leader, noting, “Dwight’s unique vision and experience align perfectly with our goals. We are confident he will guide us forward with renewed purpose as we work to make Trinidad and Tobago a formidable presence on the international stage once again.”
