Racers Grand Prix welcomes Kenyan Ferdinand Omanyala to elite athlete roster

The Racers Grand Prix has bolstered its already impressive roster with the addition of Ferdinand Omanyala, a World Championships finalist from Kenya.

Omanyala, the fastest African sprinter in history, will join a stellar field for the event scheduled for June 1 at the National Stadium.

Omanyala will participate in a highly anticipated rematch from the World Championships, which will feature gold medallist Noah Lyles, bronze medallist Zharnel Hughes, and Jamaican sprinter Oblique Seville, who finished fourth.

Global athletics stars

The Racers Grand Prix will also showcase several other global athletics stars, including Olympic champion Hansle Parchment and world 400m gold medallist Antonio Watson. These athletes are expected to deliver thrilling performances, drawing considerable attention from the athletics community.

Additionally, Olympic bronze medallist Megan Tapper, along with rising stars Jaydon Hibbert and Julien Alfred, have confirmed their participation. This array of talent sets the stage for an electrifying meet, promising high-calibre competition and world-class performances.
