In the 4x100m relay, Jamaica won their heat in round two, clocking an impressive time of 42.74 seconds. The team, comprised of Jodean Smith, Tia Clayton, Alana Reid, and Remona Burchell, executed a strategic change in their running order, with Burchell and Reid swapping positions on the third and fourth legs, resulting in a flawless victory.

Trinidad and Tobago also earned a spot in the 4x100m relay in Paris, finishing second in their heat with a time of 43.54 seconds.

Jamaica secured Olympic place in dominant fashion

In the 4x400m women’s relay, Jamaica secured their Olympic place by winning the second-round heat in a dominant fashion, clocking 3:38.54 minutes. The team, consisting of Roneisha McGregor, Charokee Young, Ashley Williams, and Junelle Bromfield, displayed impressive teamwork and efficiency.

Trinidad and Tobago’s men produced a brave performance in the 4x400m relay, securing a place in Paris despite fierce competition. The quartet of Asa Guevara, Jereem Richards, Che Lara, and Shakeem McKay fought hard to claim the final qualifying spot.

In the 4x400m mixed relay, the Bahamas and Jamaica rebounded from previous setbacks to secure their places at the Paris Olympics. Additionally, Germany, Switzerland, and Great Britain also secured Olympic berths in the event after impressive performances in their respective heats.
