Jimmy Butler’s dynamic performance, coupled with Terry Rozier’s contributions, powered the Heat to their third victory in four games.

Spoelstra emphasized the need for change, prompting alterations in the starting line-up and rotations. Butler, assuming a more prominent playmaking role, delivered a stellar performance, tallying 23 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists. Rozier, undeterred by recent shooting struggles, showcased efficiency and aggression, finishing with 18 points, seven assists, and six rebounds.

The Heat’s revamped approach translated into a dominant showing, particularly evident in a decisive 40-point third quarter. Despite Orlando’s attempts to close the gap, Miami maintained control, with Butler’s timely 3-pointers thwarting any potential comeback.

Adjusted line-up

The adjusted line-up, featuring Caleb Martin in place of Haywood Highsmith, provided a spark, propelling the Heat to an early double-digit lead. Further rotations saw Butler assume point guard duties, underscoring Spoelstra’s commitment to experimenting with different configurations.

Rozier’s resurgence and the team’s cohesive performance underscored Miami’s renewed energy and focus. The victory extended the Heat’s home winning streak against the Magic and bolstered their position in the competitive Eastern Conference playoff race.

Spoelstra hailed the win as a testament to the team’s adaptability and quality execution. With the season series secured and playoff implications at stake, the Heat’s strategic adjustments have positioned them favorably for future success.
