Cricket fans in awe as Fabian Allen shatters window during Guyana vs. Jamaica match

The Guyana Amazon Warriors clinched a significant victory against Jamaica Tallawahs during the 25th match of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2023 held at Providence Stadium.

Their win, by a margin of seven wickets, demonstrated the team’s competitive edge this season.

Tallawahs’ stand: Competitive total on the board

Sent into the batting arena first, Jamaica Tallawahs did not disappoint, setting up a compelling score of 152/5 in the designated 20 overs. 

Brandon King emerged as the star batsman, securing 52 runs from just 32 balls, embellished with ten powerful fours and an impressive six. Raymon Reifer and Fabian Allen were not far behind in their contributions, chipping in with 20 and 21 runs respectively off 14 balls.

Fabian’s mighty strike: Awe among spectators 

Fabian Allen’s innings were relatively short but became the talk of the match, thanks to his thunderous hits. 

While his 21-run spree was highlighted by two expansive sixes, one of them became etched in CPL 2023’s memory. 

On the receiving end of a slower ball from Dwaine Pretorius during the 18th over’s last delivery, Fabian launched the ball with such ferocity that it traveled a considerable distance before crashing into the stadium’s window glass.

This awe-inspiring moment left fans both astonished and exhilarated.

With such electrifying performances, CPL 2023 continues to grip fans worldwide, making it a season to remember.
