World Champs medalists lead Jamaican teams for World Athletics Relays

Jamaica has unveiled its formidable team of 31 athletes set to represent the nation at the upcoming World Athletics Relays in The Bahamas.

The team includes seasoned relay medallists and promising sprint talents poised to compete in various relay events.

Leading the charge for Jamaica's men's sprint relay team are World Championships bronze medallists Ackeem Blake and Ryiem Forde, joined by Kadrian Goldson, Nigel Ellis, and Bryan Levell. This line-up aims to continue Jamaica's success on the global stage and secure qualifying points for the Olympic Games in Paris.

On the women's side, sprint sensations Kemba Nelson and Alana Reid headline the pool of athletes for the 4x100m relay. They are supported by Natasha Morrison, Jodean Williams, and Remona Burchell, forming a formidable line-up capable of challenging for top honors.

In the men's 400m pool, World Indoors bronze medallist Rusheen McDonald leads the charge, accompanied by Malik James King, Roshawn Clarke, national champion Sean Bailey, and Zandrion Barnes. This group brings a blend of experience and talent, aiming to make a mark in the relay events.

For the women's 400m relay, Stacey Ann Williams and Charokee Young, among others, will represent Jamaica, showcasing their speed and skill on the track. They will be supported by Leah Anderson, Janieve Russell, and Ashley Williams, forming a competitive pool of athletes ready to compete at the highest level.
