In anticipation of the peak travel season surrounding the St. Patrick’s Festival, the Government of Montserrat has signed a contract with Windward Islands Airways (WINAIR) to provide additional airlift to and from the island during February and March 2025.

This increased air service is designed to accommodate the higher travel demand during this busy period, which includes the highly anticipated St. Patrick’s Festival, set to take place from March 8 to 17.

Premier Reuben T. Meade, who oversees access to the island, acknowledged the expected surge in visitors and emphasized the government’s proactive efforts to secure additional air services.

“We recognize the growing demand for travel to and from Montserrat during the upcoming St. Patrick’s celebrations. To address this, we have proactively engaged WINAIR, which has a strong track record of service to Montserrat, to help facilitate the movement of people and goods into and out of the island,” Premier Meade stated.

WINAIR will operate flights through its main hubs at V.C. Bird International Airport in Antigua and Princess Juliana International Airport in St. Maarten, enhancing connectivity during the peak travel season.

Tickets for the additional flights will be available exclusively on the WINAIR website. The Access Division will provide further updates on ticket fares and the opening of the Montserrat booking portal once available.
