Winair and Air Caraïbes enhance regional travel with renewed interline agreement

Winair and Air Caraïbes have revitalized their interline agreement, continuing a partnership that has significantly enhanced travel connectivity across the Caribbean.

This renewed collaboration offers streamlined experiences and expanded flight options for passengers traveling throughout the region.

Enhancing passenger experience

The partnership aims to simplify travel for passengers by allowing them to purchase a single ticket for journeys that include flights on both airlines.

This convenience is further supported by seamless connections, where baggage is checked through to the final destination, and boarding passes are issued for the entire journey at the initial check-in.

These measures ensure a smoother travel process, minimizing the hassle of multiple check-ins and baggage claims.

Expanded network and travel options

Through this agreement, passengers enjoy access to a broader network of destinations.

Air Caraïbes serves as a bridge between Europe and the Caribbean, with flights from Orly Airport in Paris to Fort-de-France, and onwards to Sint Maarten, a pivotal hub in Winair’s extensive network.

From Sint Maarten, travelers can connect to picturesque Caribbean destinations such as Antigua, St. Barthélemy, Dominica, Saba, St. Eustatius, Tortola, and St. Kitts.

Bolstering regional tourism and business opportunities

The collaboration not only improves travel logistics but also fosters tourism growth and strengthens economic ties within the region.

By improving access to the Caribbean’s diverse destinations, the agreement supports local economies and enhances the visibility of the region's unique offerings.

Commitment to quality and regional connectivity

Leaders from both airlines express a strong commitment to this partnership, underscoring its role in expanding service offerings and enhancing the travel experience for both Caribbean and European travelers.

This commitment is echoed by regional leaders, such as the Minister of Tourism of St. Maarten, who highlights the agreement’s role in promoting tourism and showcasing the region’s beauty and hospitality.
